The Vans US Open of Surfing kicks of this weekend July 25, 2015 in Huntington Beach, California! For ten straight days Huntington Beach turns in the the mecca of surfing, skating and BMX. There are over 100 events and activities scheduled and to make it a bit easier we have highlighted some skate events you do not want to miss.
July 26th at 2pm
Start your week off right with the Shop Battle in the bowl. Shops from California and Arizona battle it out for cash prizes and bragging rights of who has the best shop team.
July28th at 4pm
The Women's Skate Contest will be going down. Catch Lizzie Armanto and many more of the best women skaters in the world shred. Just be glad you don't have to compete against them and get your butt kicked.
July 29th to the 31st at 4pm
Practice starts for all the Pro skaters to figure out their best line and dial in their mind blowing tricks.
July 31st at 4pm
The Van Doren Invitational Skate Qualifiers. Watch 30 wildcard skaters see if they have what it takes to get one of the 10 remaining spots in the Pro Semifinals and take home $25,000 big ones.
August 1st at 3pm
What better way to the week with the Pro Semifinals from 3pm to 5pm followed by an hour long final at 5pm. This event continues to get out of control with skaters from all around the world.
